I have a blunt way of speaking; I don't believe in promises I can't keep, but I assure you, I really am very sweet.

My favorite thing about being a stylist is the opportunity to show my clients that their hair really IS fabulous. Your hair doesn't have to feel like work... it can be so much fun! 

If you sit in my chair, plan on being taught tricks that will make your morning routine go smoother and prepare to get lots of compliments...

I became a stylist when a good friend literally kicked me in the ass and asked "Why aren't you a hair stylist? You're always doing everyone's hair and it always looks so good!"

I am fueled by Breve Maple Lattes and a love of good food. When I'm not in the salon, I'm Co-Leading a 4-H group, visiting antique shops/yard sales with the Hubbs, annoying my two 20-something-year-old kids, visiting downtown Portsmouth or laying on the beach SOLO.

As an extrovert, I could never understand why a person wouldn't tell a stylist what they wanted, or if they didn't like what was already done to their hair. For that very reason, I strive to be on the same page as my guests and am always encouraging them to let me know what they're thinking cuz I'm NOT a mind reader and it won't hurt my feelings if you want to change something! My end goal is to make YOU happy with YOUR hair!(That being said, I will let you know if what you want isn't achievable)I love being able to cover gray and giving dimensional looks, but my sweet spot is blonding, and I'd love the opportunity to discuss taking your current look to the next level no matter if it's extreme or subtle
